About the event

Please note: This month's Huddle is on a Wednesday (April 30) instead of our usual 4th Thursday.

Pull up a chair and grab your lunch — we've got a conversation you don't want to miss.

This month, The Encouraging Place welcomes Pastor Jerome Gay Jr. to the Virtual Lunch Huddle. Pastor Jerome is the founding pastor of Vision Church in Raleigh, NC, author of five books, and a powerful voice for gospel-centered transformation in the urban context.

Our conversation will center on his book, The Whitewashing of Christianity: A Hidden Past, A Hurtful Present, and A Hopeful Future — a timely, eye-opening exploration of how the Christian faith has been presented in a culturally monolithic way and what it means for all of us moving forward.
