You're invited to the 2026 Annual Celebration of The Encouraging Place—a night to gather around the table, celebrate a year of racial healing, community, and standing together in hope.
This year's theme, “His Banner over us is Love”, is a reminder that even in hard times, love is still the way forward. There's no one who embodies that message quite like our featured guest.
We are honored to welcome the Rt. Rev. Bishop Michael Curry as our speaker for the evening. Bishop Curry served as the 27th Presiding Bishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church-- the first African American to hold that office--and is known around the world for his message that love has the power to heal, reconcile, and change lives

Pull up a chair and join us for the evening. Doors open at 5:30 PM, and dinner is served at 6:00 PM. Your seat includes dinner and a night of encouragement, storytelling, and celebration with Bishop Michael Curry and the TEP family. Every seat helps fuel a year of racial healing and community in the Triangle.
