You're invited to The Encouraging Place's 2026 Annual Celebration — one night to gather around the table, celebrate a year of racial healing and community, and stand together in hope.
This year's theme, His banner over us is love, is a reminder that even in hard times, love is still the way forward. And there's no one who embodies that message quite like our featured guest.
We are honored to welcome Bishop Michael Curry as our in-person speaker for the evening. Bishop Curry served as the 27th Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church — the first African American to hold that office — and is known around the world for his message that love has the power to heal, reconcile, and change lives. Pull up a chair and join us for the evening. Doors open at 5:30 PM, and dinner is served at 6:00 PM. Your seat includes dinner and a night of encouragement, storytelling, and celebration with Bishop Michael Curry and the TEP family. Every seat helps fuel a year of racial healing and community in the Triangle.

As a Table Sponsor, you'll reserve a full table for 6–8 guests — your family, friends, church, or business — and your sponsorship goes beyond the meal to directly support The Encouraging Place's work all year long.
